This sculpture marks the centre of the engineering quad at UIUC. There are three markers around it. The shadow of it reaches the first marker on June 21, the second marker on September 23 and the third marker on December 22.

I went to the cemetery on Kerr and Cunningham to take pictures. This one is the epitaph of a fighter pilot from World war I who died in 1948.

An experimental shot at the cemetery. I set a slow shutter speed and moved in front of the camera to create the ghostly air.
